Jacques Rousseau lectures critical thinking and ethics in the School of Management Studies (University of Cape Town), and is the co-author (with Dr. Caleb Lack, University of Central Oklahoma) of Critical Thinking, Science, and Pseudoscience: Why We Can’t Trust Our Brains (Springer, 2016).

He is the founder and chairman of the Free Society Institute (FSI), a South African non-profit organisation devoted to promoting scientific reasoning and secular humanism.
